Manager, Jamie-Leigh, is off on a Dermalogica lunch on Tuesday, to network with the head-honchos of the brand and talk to other salons continuing to build their businesses during this tough time in the recession. We can’t wait to hear what Jamie gets up to, and hope she has a successful business lunch. We’ll keep you all posted.

Gemma and Nicole are also having a busy week, and are travelling to Sussex for a couple of days to hone their skills working with the Universal Contour Wrap, for advanced course training. This is a popular treatment with our regular clients, who love being able to see instant results from this inch-loss, skin smoothing wrap; perfect as preparation for a special occasion, or helping to kick-start getting your body back into shape. We hope the girls have a great time, and learn lots, so we can all benefit from their new skills!

The event started about 4pm, with champagne and canopes served to guests on arrival and throughout the night. All attendees were extremely generous in their donations, helping us to reach our amazing total.

Gemma & Lucy have just returned, fresh from the slopes of Austria, after a skiing holiday with friends. As a true beauty girls, they had to take all their must-have products with them for the trip (travelling light is never an option).  Essentials for skiing in the cold weather were:

Nails
The Jessica Geleration formula has recently come up with a sheer glitter flecked polish to add to your gel base colour for your nails. The new glitter varnish, ‘Scarlet’, is our favourite addition to the collection to add some sparkle to your nails.

Eyes
Brighten up eyes with a bit of shimmer eyeliner. Adding some liner to your look is a quick and easy way to change your make up in a few minutes. Our special VIP event will be a one-off party in support of soldier charity, Help the Heroes, with all profits made from the night going to the worthy cause.

The party starts at 4pm, going on into the evening until 9pm, so feel free to drop by after work for some champagne, cocktails and fun with the girls!

All Indulgence customers present will receive 20% off of all treatments booked and paid for during the 4-9pm time slot, which will carry over to whatever date the treatment has been booked for.
Another discount available on the night will be 20% off a selection of clothing from fashion boutique, ‘Rule One’. The owner of the store will be bringing along a gorgeous selection of dresses for party guests to try and buy on the night.

Booking appointments is now just as easy to do on the internet as it is to call the salon directly. To book online with us, simply go to our website and click on the link saying ‘Book Online’ from our homepage. This will take you to a sign in portal. Once you have registered with us, you will then be able to choose from a list of appointment times, appointment types (i.e. which treatment you would like to have) and which member of staff you would prefer. The system will then show you our availability and allow you book the time slots that are free. Full payment of the treatment is required on booking, otherwise the appointment will be cancelled.

It’s our first blog post of the year, and so first and foremost, we hope you all had an fabulous break over Christmas and New Year. We look forward to hearing all your stories when we next see you in the salon.

The Indulgence Team all had a lovely break for a few days after working very hard over the holiday period. (But we did manage to get in out fair share of partying, too!) Here’s what we all got up to for the biggest party night of the year…

Gemma headed up town to the city on New Years Eve to watch the fireworks after having dinner at the first Indian restaurant ever opened in London, ’Veeraswamy‘. The venue was beautifully decorated for the occasion and had a great atmosphere for the evening. After coming highly recommended, the food did not disappoint and was as amazing as expected.

Her look for the evening included wearing Halo Hair extensions to give volume to her natural tresses, and was styled to create masses of curls for a full and bouncy look. The tan of choice for the night was Gemma’s favourite Bali spray tan, giving a lovely glow to skin as a great base for make up and lashes to finish off the party look.

Jamie Leigh went a bit theatrical for New Years, dressing up as the ever-so-sexy Alice and Wonderland to a fancy dress party. We think she looked gorgeous in her long blonde wig, making a dramatic transformation from her usual short dark bob!

Jamie didn’t have time for a spray tan (being the busy girl she is!) and so instead she used her favourite Flawless FakeBake Self  Tan, expertly applied, of course! Can you spot Jamie in the picture below?

Nicole went to Pure nightclub in Bexleyheath and partied the night away until the early hours of the morning. She looked amazing as always, and had black Jessica gel nails with added glitter to match her dress for the night.
