What qualifications will I achieve?
You will receive a IPHM certification which is an internationally recognised award which will allow you to gain insurance.
Please always check will your insurance provider before you book a course.
Are the courses accredited?
Yes all courses are accredited by IPHM and are internationally recognised.
Do I get a certificate?
Certificates will be awarded at the end of the training in digital format after the case studies have been assessed and passed . All case studies must be completed within 6 months of training. Failure to send case studies within this time frame means you haven’t completed the course and certification will not be given.
Upon successfully passing a course a certificate is produced. This is emailed to you and also available to view in your learner portal.
What's the difference between online and blending learning courses?
Our blended courses are the perfect mix of flexible online learning with the added benefit of hands of training with industry experts who can guide you in person on your learning journey.
Are there entry requirements to the Master Glow Up courses?
You will need a minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent for these courses.
What is online training?
Indulgence Training Academy online course offers a comprehensive range of Training Courses for either the novice technician joining the industry for the first time, as well as professional technicians wanting to upgrade to a new skill.
The course structure is informative, covering all aspects of health and safety, anatomy and physiology, treatments protocols and provides beautifully filmed videos of each treatment being performed which you can watch time and time again, perfect for the visual learner. The online course also includes a mini exam to test your knowledge and in some courses case studies will be needed to be provided.
All courses are accredited ensuring both content and standards are met at all times.
What is in house Training with Indulgence?
Here at Indulgence Training Academy we are like no other; we will strive for excellence from our graduates, by providing teaching that goes beyond the classroom – the future centre of excellence! We are passionate about teaching the new generation of beauty therapists, providing them with the skills they need for a successful career in this dynamic and exciting industry. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn a new skill or an experienced Therapist looking to learn new techniques skills to increase your knowledge and earning potential. We offer training for many treatments. So if you wanted to start your own mobile beauty business or work from a salon then the accreditation from our courses will allow you to do that. Our certification will mean that you can obtain your insurance and start working straight away.
There are various aspects to becoming an award-winning therapist, many of which are not emphasised in colleges around the Country; these gaps we intend to fill, along with integrating the expertise into the Salon industry. Ensuring the highest standards possible. In addition, we will also be focussing on advanced beauty courses in areas such as Gels, Intimate waxing, Lashes, Facials and body treatments, as well as many more; using professionally branded products, and formally approving their status with industry recognised certifications.
The intention of Indulgence Training Academy is not to just teach the courses, but enable our students to be the best possible calibre in the Industry, hence serving a dual purpose of being a training and finishing school.

Who are IPHM?
The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) has been developed to provide the general public and health care professionals with a body of regulated professionals, all qualified to accredited levels.
IPHM was set up to offer training providers and therapists alike whom offer a wide range of different therapies to be united under one umbrella as opposed to paying out for expensive specialist governing bodies for numerous therapies.
We exist to maintain Standards and support holistic practitioners. As such we are dedicated to recognised standards of qualification.
Do I need to bring a model for training courses?
In our experience students learn just as much being a model and having the treatment done on themselves. The groups are small and your tutor will make sure you work with all the group.
However there may be occasions where we have odd numbers or someone is unable to have a treatment, if this is the case we will inform you and ask you to bring a model.
What about Insurance?
It is the student’s responsibility to check with their insurers that cover will be given for their pending qualification. Indulgence training academy takes no responsibility in regard to student’s insurance cover.
Can beginners do these courses?
Yes most courses are structured for beginners as well. Full support from the team is on hand. Any courses that require any extra qualifications will be stated with in the description.
About prerequisites
Some of our courses require you to have a core qualification as a pre requisite. Failure to show proof of your qualifications will result in you losing your place on the course. Fees will be non refundable. Please give us a call if you have any queries regarding your qualifications.
How can I pay for courses?
For courses you can secure your booking with full payment this can be paid online using PayPal, Stripe or credit/ debit card. Or you can call us to arrange a BACS transfer.
Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my course?
In accordance with The Consumer Contracts Regulation you are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period from the day of booking. If you choose to cancel please let us know in writing within this period for a full refund. Please see our terms and conditions.

Is there parking?
Parking is available in Oaklands car park and can be paid using the RingGo app. The car park is a 3 minute walk from the salon.
Cancellation or amendments to courses made by us
In exceptional circumstances we may need to cancel or change the date of a course. This could be due to bad weather, tutor sickness or insufficient numbers. In this instance you will be offered a place on the next available course. Course fees are non refundable. Indulgence training Academy reserves the right to amend or change training dates.

How to book a in person training course?
The quickest way of securing a place on one of our training courses is to book using our online calendar and pay on inline using the payment facilities. All courses are paid in full at the time of booking.
How do I cancel my booking?
In accordance with The Consumer Contracts Regulation you are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period from the day of booking. If you choose to cancel please let us know in writing within this period for a full refund.
No refund will be given after these 14 days, this includes any deposits, monies paid in monthly instalments or payments made in full.
Withdrawing from a commenced course
If you withdraw from a course you have already started no refund will be given.

What should I wear?
For training ideally a tunic and black trousers but if you don’t have one a dark short sleeved T shirt will be fine. We ask that you wear flat non slip shoes, long hair is tied back and your nails are short.
What is included in the course of in house training?
The cost of the course includes tuition fees, all equipment, towels and consumables are provided. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Course fees do not include any kits that may be needed to help complete case studies.
Please bring a packed lunch.
What included in the online training courses?
You purchase your courses and once paid you will be directed to the site where under the My Account page, you will see your courses available to take.
You can then study the Course Content.
An Exam is next - this is a multiple choice exam which you can take as many times as you like till passed. As well a a professional video of the treatment taking place.
Then you will start your case studies where necessary and upload the evidence.
We will then assess the work and if happy issue you with your certificate which you can download.
You must then obtain Insurance and then you can start your journey as you will be fully qualified.
What are the course times for practical training?
Most courses run from 9.30am until 5.00pm unless stated otherwise. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. This gives you time to relax and fill out any necessary paperwork. Students who arrive more than 30minutes late will not be able to join the class. We hope you can appreciate there is a lot to cover on our training days and we do not have the time to restart classes. Fees will not be refunded.
Health and safety for practical training
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are confirming that you are in good health and have no contra indications that could prevent you completing your training. You will be asked to sign a health disclaimer on the day of the course. Indulgence training reserve the right to refuse training if we feel your heath will be put at risk.
What is your behaviour policy?
Indulgence Training Academy reserves the right to refuse training to anyone who exhibits aggressive behaviour towards the tutor or fellow students. In these very rare instances the student in question will be asked to leave the course. Fees are non refundable.
Can I swap my course?
No, courses cannot be swapped so please make sure you are 100% confident on what is in your basket.
Are kits included with my course?
No. Kits can be purchased via the indulgence Academy Shop if required. Postage can take up to 14 days but this will allow you to start the Theory process. In the Course content there is a list of what you will require to complete case studies and the treatment. We only have a handful of Kits for certain courses available at present and we are working on building this. Please note that we hold no responsibility for future products as it is down to yourself to supply your own, all we can do is advise.
Is there a time limit on the online course?
Yes the time limit to complete your course is 12 months. You can gain access to your course online at any time to re visit the Course content.
Can I buy courses for my employees?
Yes you can, however you will need to buy courses individually as you will need to register each employees name when purchasing each course so they can have their own account.
Each person must have their own account in order for their case studies to be marked and retained as evidence and the system generates certificates based on the name on each account - which cannot be amended after.
How do I view the course content?
The course content is all held online on our website, you will read the content and move through each section of the course.
